Karachi coast
Clifton, Karachi
Clifton is the Karachi classroom for Pakistan Spearfishing. Waqar Khan uses this open water for breath control, technique and ocean awareness.
Written by Waqar Khan, founder of Pakistan Spearfishing.
The place
Sessions start from the Karachi coast. The plan follows the sea on the day, not a fixed depth or a published timetable.
Clifton suits a first look at real ocean water and return sessions when a student needs a familiar shore.
Freediving
Breath-hold, relaxation and a supervised descent when the water and the student are ready.
Spearfishing skills
Ocean awareness and the habits used later on longer coastal days. This is skills work, not a guaranteed catch.
Safety
Waqar decides whether the day is suitable. Students do not freedive alone, and a session stops if conditions or equalisation are not right.
